Father, hear the prayer we offer
Ok this is me being sentimental! And because I love and miss my grandad so much! You see my grandparents were committed Christians, but I wasn't - and only found Jesus after they had passed away. I so hope they know this!
Anyhow, something wonderful happened recently. I knew after my grandad passed away that I was given his bookmark with a prayer on it. Anyhow in my pre-Christian days it was a wonderful, personal thing to have to remind me of him. However, now it has become a huge connection between my Christianity and my grandads. BUT I could not find it! (safe place and all that...)
But I found it! It is now framed and on display and feel it is such a connection between him and me. Below is a copy of the verse and they hymn it comes from.
